Riverside Gardens Second Survey W.A. Govt. Responsible Dog Ownership

1st March 2010 The Pathway adjacent to the Bayswater Main Drain. Currently the OFF LEASH Dog
Exercise Area in Riverside Gardens West does NOT include the pathway which runs
adjacent to the Bayswater Main Drain from the water towers to the river. Bayswater City Council is
intending to enforce the rules of the 1976 Dog Act which states: 31. Control of dogs in
certain public places (1) A dog shall not be in a
public place unless it is — (a) held by a person who is
capable of controlling the dog; or (b) securely tethered for a
temporary purpose, YOU
WILL BE FINED Council will consider an
amendment but we need to let them know how we feel. PLEASE post or email
Bayswater councillors with the following statement (or similar in your own
